easter ideas

what are your easter traditions? when i was little we would wake up and search for eggs and our baskets (yes, parents hid our baskets too). it was torture. they used to laugh as we got frustrated not being able to find them. and then it would be time to go to our grandmother’s house. even if we hadn’t found our baskets! i distinctly remember my mom taking pity on me one year and showing me. you know where it was? the effing laundry chute. they clogged it with who knows what, and set the basket on top. i don’t do that to my kids…yet.

here are a few things i’m considering having on hand to help make some memories with the family this year.

this melamine bunny plate is the cutest to serve your kids their brunch on, and then every meal after that. they will never want another plate, so make sure you wash it.

for the little chef in your life – this peter rabbit apron is a no brainer. i just love that sweet bunny face. and think it could inspire some really good carrot dishes! and it’s currently on sale!

nothing goes with easter and eggs like some egg cartons – and these blank ones leave all the decorating to you. use these for died eggs, collecting the hidden ones, filled with goodies for host gifts. get creative, my crafty peeps.

easter is not complete without some easter bunny ears! these meri meri paper ears are easy and adorable. who doesn’t like to play pretend or dress up? and these will give some fun far past easter, me thinks.

come on! i can’t even stand how cute this shirt is!

serious love for these retro spring chicken cupcake toppers – perfect way to easterize any store-bought cupcakes! seriously think the colors are swoon-worthy (and i’ve been called a color-phobe at times).
